Mnemocide EPK

MNEMOCIDE is a death metal band from the Basel region, founded in 2017 by five seasoned musicians with extensive live and studio experience. Emerging from previous shared band projects, the group developed a clear vision: uncompromising, groove-driven death metal with maximum impact. In 2020, MNEMOCIDE expanded to a six-piece, adding further musical depth and dynamic range.

The band’s sound combines brutal riffs, massive grooves and aggressive vocals into a powerful and cohesive force, delivering both on record and on stage. MNEMOCIDE is known for intense live performances and high-energy shows that leave a lasting impression.

The EP «Debris» (2018) marked the band's first official release, laying the foundation for their sonic identity. Their debut full-length album «Feeding The Vultures» followed in spring 2020, and the album «Kingdom Of Filth» will be released in January 2027. All three releases were recorded at Iguana Studios near Freiburg, Germany, and produced by Christoph Brandes (among others Thron, The Spirit, Unlight, Necrophagist, Finsterforst), reflecting MNEMOCIDE's professional standards and resulting in a powerful, modern production.

In addition to numerous club shows, MNEMOCIDE has performed at well-established festivals such as BScene Basel, Freakout Festival, Headbanger's Ball, Meh Suff Winter and Summer Festival, and the Z7 Wild Dayz, reaching a broad and dedicated metal audience.

MNEMOCIDE stands as a focused and forceful live act with a clear artistic direction, aiming to establish a strong and lasting presence within the European death metal scene.

The name MNEMOCIDE, composed of the Greek «mnēmoniká» (=memory) and the Latin «caedere» (=kill, murder) means something like «memory murder» or the erasure of collective memory.

It's very important that you only use the band logo provided here or in the "Logos" folder contained in the zip. Please use the suitable file for a black or a white logo. We provide both with a transparent background as a *.tif file.

Use the black logo if the font-colour, or rather the logo colour, is darker than your background and vice versa. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES invert either of the two logos. It messes up the Design of the middle skull.
